What is vegan makeup?
Vegan makeup is any makeup which does not contain animal ingredients or any ingredients derived from animals, such as lanolin, collagen and beeswax.
However, it is important to note that currently there is little regulation in the industry, so just because something is labelled vegan it doesn’t necessarily mean that products are cruelty-free. At Rude Cosmetics all of our makeup is proudly cruelty free and Peta certified.
We are passionate about animal welfare and we understand that vegan products are essential for many of our customers. We are moving towards more and more vegan lines within our makeup offering and this is a priority for us.
Currently all vegan products are easily identified with the green leaf stamp on the product packaging. But this does not mean we compromise on quality! All Rude products are tested on Makeup Artists, not animals! We produce high performance, cruelty free and vegan products.
